I've been working for myself since 2005 - training horses, teaching, sales and consulting;
I've managed barns, boarders and employees - I'm a go-to resource for clients and friends for all manner of assistance because I have a talent for both service and sharing knowledge; I'm clear and direct, and I'm reliable.
My purpose and passion is helping others.
Alongside meeting clients and teaching, I've done all the behind the scenes work to keep my doors open - bookkeeping, taxes... scheduling, advertising, ordering... hiring and firing -- all of it by myself; it can be a crazy juggling act when the core of your business has you outside and on the road for most of your workday, but I'm self-directed, I learn quickly and I know how to get things done. Through the stress of slowdown, and the exhaustion in full 'seasons', my ambition for helping others succeed has only grown stronger.
I wouldn't trade this life for anything in the world.
As my personal 'seasons' and life goals evolve, I'm shifting my talents towards supporting others in a remote capacity to give my clients the freedom they desire in new ways.
